Hardware-first engineer designing next-generation edge IoT devices, custom PCBs, and experimental volumetric display systems. Pushing the boundaries of spatial computing with sub-millimeter precision rendering from live sensor data.
Designed a world-first, novel hardware project: a surface-independent smartpen that converts human hand movement into precise digital handwriting without requiring any special screen, tablet, or digitizer surface. By combining kinematic roller sensors with an advanced edge ML handwriting transcription algorithm, this IoT smartpen tracks spatial trajectories and transcribes text in real-time.
Engineered a critical safety wearable integrating a dual-layer communication model to ensure alerts reach help even in cellular dead zones. Featuring a Silicon Labs Si4713 module, the hardware automatically injects high-priority emergency packets directly onto a 57 kHz Radio Data System (RDS) subcarrier.
Prototyping a solid-state volumetric display using high-speed swept volume techniques and edge ML processing. Rendering real-time spatial arrays with sub-millimeter precision directly from live sensor data.
